This original print by Henry Meloy features a surreal, black and white rendering of an antelope stepping over Chicago's world renowned Field Museum. An original plate by Jean Goodwin from a 2nd edition series published in 1931 promoting travel via the Illinois Central railroad.
From a series of plates executed as a research project by students of the Art Institute of Chicago. Their project was a response to celebrated large rapid transit posters created to promote ridership on the South Shore, North Shore, and Elevated Lines during the 1920s.
